Посмотрел вот уже третью экранизацию одноименного романа 'Body Snatchers' Джека Финнея. На этот раз под режиссурой Абеля Феррары. Пожалуй, из трех версий эта наиболее слабая, но и в ней есть свои плюсы. Атмосфера тут такая условно милитаристская: действие происходит около военной базы, для отвода глаз тут показывают всякие химикаты и прочие радиоактивные вещества, якобы они тут как-то связаны. Но нет, тут просто инопланетяне, которые мимикрируют под людей.

В ленте Дона Сигела одной из главных мыслей было то, что у будущих клонов не будет эмоций, любви, секса, страха. Что они все будут одинаковые. Но не будет тогда и конфликтов, войн и т.д. Этакая сиропная утопия, которая может ждать главных героев. Тут это подано несколько мимоходом, а то и вовсе кринжово. Например, когда летчика вертолета армейские "друзья" проверяют на эмоции фразой: "А я спал с твоей девушкой". Благо пилот на этот вброс не повелся. Но все равно - звучит несколько анекдотично.

Из всех актеров запоминается только Форест Уитакер в маленькой роли. "Вы не получите мою душу" и последующее самоубийство врезаются в память. Также плюсом надо отметить обнаженку главной героини Габриэль Анвар. Это всегда зачотно.

P.S. Надо будет еще 'The Invasion' (2007) посмотреть с Николь Кидман.
