Еще один полузабытый слэшер из 80-х. Даже удивительно, что из него не получилось целой франшизы. Вроде существует тока вольный римейк, не более того. Все в рамках канонов слэшеров того периода, но изменилось время убийств (с праздника Всех святых на день Святого Валентина), к тому же интересная локация - в шахте. Мы видим убийцу весь фильм в каком-то шахтерском противогазе - и тут сразу понятно, что это нужно не жертве, а нам, зрителям. Ведь та интрига, которую пихают в самом начале - она чисто для отвода глаз.

Вся это небылица про преступления двадцатилетней давности - это миф, всего лишь славное прошлое. В маске же кто-то другой. Или вы не догадались? "Мой кровавый Валентин" (My Bloody Valentine) - тот самый ламповый хоррор из 80-х, который (и заслуженно) критикуют за штампы, но на которого будут ссылаться в научных диссертациях по истории кино. Вот такие парадоксы.

Я думаю, где-то в аду есть отдельный котел для "Марвела". Потому что последние его фильмы прямиком отправляются именно туда. Честно говоря, я не знаю, что писать об этом фильме. Ладно, в сюжете творится полная дичь, что в принципе нормально для творений студии. Но "Капитан Марвел 2" (The Marvels) - это сущий монтажный кошмар. Я давно не видел такого позора даже в условном малобюджетном треше. Кино выглядит как "обрубок", который еле-еле склеили и выпустили на потеху публике. Тут даже попытки в юмор, кошечки и вполне миловидная Иман Веллани не спасают. Это было чудовищно.
