Открываю новую рубрику Ranked, где буду ранжировать фильмографии отдельных режиссеров или целые франшизы.

После релиза новой ленты "Убийца" почитал разные отзывы на картины Финчера и подумал: а почему бы и мне этим не заняться? Ну хотя бы фор фан.

Итак, мой рейтинг картин Финча от худшего к лучшему. Поехали:

12. Alien 3 (1992)
Честно говоря, во всей вселенной Чужих мастерписом я считаю только первый фильм Ридли Скотта. Там, в космосе для меня история Эллен Рипли и заканчивается. Все остальные ленты - это такие необязательные сиквелы и приквелы, которых могло и не быть. А главное, они не особо и нужны. Сам Финчер ненавидит эту свою работу и я его понимаю.

11. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
Мне больше нравится более ранняя шведская экранизация. А фильм Финча при всей технической составляющей не произвел на меня особого впечатления. Да и Руни Мара мне нравится в других ролях. Кино я ни разу не пересматривал, да и желания особого нет.

10. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)
Ну это такое чисто "оскаровское" кино маэстро. Кому-то нравится, но для меня - это еще один условный "Форрест Гамп". Кино вежливых аплодисментов.

9. Mank (2020)
Passion project Финчера. Фильм посвящен отцу и поставлен по его сценарию. Он хороший, но скучный. А сама идея - ну это просто парафраз скандальных статей Полин Кейл. Дурновато.

8. Fight Club (1999)
Безусловно, культовое кино своего поколения. Но я никогда не был фанатом "Бойцовского клуба". Хотя концептуально и визуально - мастер-класс. Ну и Марла, да. Хелен Бонем Картер по мне тут задвигает Питта и Нортона вместе взятых. Настоящая фамм фаталь.

7. Panic Room (2002)
А вот это настоящий underrated муви Финчера. Камерный, клаустрофобный кин. Многие говорят: ну, мол, это просто триллер. Но мастеров, которые так могут снять - на самом деле немного.

6. The Game (1997)
Фильм, который интересен прежде всего твистом. В 90-х это круто смотрелось, но сейчас - не уверен.

5. The Social Network (2010)
По мнению многих, чуть ли не главный фильм 2010-х годов. Фильм, за который Дэвид должен был брать "Оскар". Кино отличное. Просто не совсем мое.

4. Se7en (1995)
Вечный вопрос: а что было там в коробке? Формально обычный триллер из 90-х стал настоящим прорывом в карьере мастера. Очень круто поставлено и до сих пор смотрится "на ура". Атмосфера тут просто бомбезная.

3. The Killer (2023)
А вот это не просто триллер - это деконструкция традиций крайма со времен "Самурая". К тому же его можно трактовать как кино о самой профессии режиссера (стоит дать маху - за тобой все охотятся, ты в культуре отмены). Убийства (или творчество) - это не просто ради денег, как говорит героиня Тильды Суинтон, это ради удовольствия.

2. Gone Girl (2014)
Остроумная сатира о токсичных отношениях, поданная под соусом триллера. Кино с двойным дном. А еще очень оригинальное и смешное кино.

1. Zodiac (2007)
Эпохальный фильм Финчера, главный триллер нулевых (ну наравне с "Воспоминаниями об убийстве"). Много вопросов, мало ответов. Кино об одержимости. Каждый раз можно пересматривать и черпать что-то новое. Мастерпис.
