Я тут давече решил побаловаться и пересмотрел внезапно первого "Терминатора". Кстати, он все такой же отличный, как и раньше.

Это прям идеальный слэшер. Кэмерон берет самую хайповую формулу с преследованием маньяка киборга жертвы, добавляет сай-фая, экшна и немного красивой романтической линии. "Терминатор" (The Terminator) прост, но зато все работает идеально. То ли это заслуга прекрасной режиссуры, то ли еще чего. Но тут все прекрасно. Ну а Кэм, конечно, тогда был в самом соку. Это сейчас он ушел в "мультики", а в 80-е вершил историю.

Из-за того, что в "Терминаторе" нет какой-то яркой мифологии (это не "Звездные войны"), франшиза была обречена. Да, Кэмерону удалось войти в одну реку дважды. Но все остальные сиквелы просто ужасны. Они либо просто копипастят находки первых двух лент (как, допустим, третья часть), либо уходят куда-то вообще не туда. Вот вроде фильм с Бэйлом в главной роли чего-то пытался сказать, но и он потерпел неудачу. Ибо без перемещений в прошлое - это уже не "Терм". А развивать плохо прописанную и блеклую антиутопию будущего - скучно.

Из других интересных деталей: бар "Технонуар" - это прекрасно. То ли это такая авторская ирония, то ли просто название. Но выглядит круто. Ведь по сути сам жанр "Терминатора" так и можно описать. Это техно-нуар.

Фильм слегка с фрейдистским уклоном. Ну сами посудите: сын отправляет в прошлое своего отца, чтобы тот спас мать и зачал его самого. Причем Кайл Риз заочно влюблен в девушку с фотокарточки, которая живет в прошлом. Это прям очень нуаровское.
