Недавно были объявлены номинанты "Готэма", так что можно сказать уверенно: наградной сезон 2017/18 стартовал. Но, безусловно, в США остальные премии служат в основном ориентиром для главной цели всех кинематографистов: самого "Оскара". И хотя на дворе начало ноября, кое-какие прикидки уже можно делать.

Начнем с главной категории и попробуем разобраться, какие картины будут претендовать на статус Best Picture. Заокеанские аналитики на сайте Gurus O'Gold уже определили тройку фронтраннеров. Ими стали следующие кандидаты: "Дюнкерк", "Форма воды" и "Три биллборда на границе Эббинга, Миссури". У всех этих лент высочайшие оценки на сайте Rotten Tomatoes (92%, 97%, 95%) и признание англоязычных критиков. Если взглянуть на статистику прошлых лет, то можно сделать следующий вывод: "гурусы" никогда не ошибались насчет фаворитов. За все последние сезоны обладателем "Оскара" в главной категории обязательно становился фильм из ведущей тройки аналитиков.

Фильмам "Форма воды" и "Три биллборда" вистов добавляет мощный актерский состав и хорошие сценарные работы (Мартин Макдона, кстати, получил приз за лучший скрипт на Венецианском фестивале). А вот лента Кристофера Нолана стоит особняком. Даже поклонники "Дюнкерка" (к коим отношусь и я) вряд ли скажут, что актеры и сценарий в нем играют важнейшую роль. Это режиссерский проект в первую очередь. А ведь Академики в последние годы отмечают в главной категории именно сценарно-актерское кино.

Именно поэтому мы не раз наблюдали, как лучший режиссер года получал свою награду отдельно от лучшего фильма. Побеждал Альфонсо Куарон без "Гравитации", Алехандро Гонсалес Иньярриту без "Выжившего" и Дэмьен Шазель без "Ла-Ла Ленда". Так что снова не исключен сплит. К примеру, я легко могу представить ситуацию, что Кристофер Нолан получит награду за лучшую режиссуру. Но "Дюнкерк" проиграет в главной категории.

В декабре важнейшим мерилом будущих перспектив многих лент станет очередная награда актерской гильдии. Еще ни разу в XXI веке "Оскар" не выигрывал фильм, который не попадал в пятерку лучших актерских ансамблей года. А за все время присуждения премии SAG исключение было только один раз: "Храброе сердце" Мэла Гибсона не попало в пятерку ансамблей в 1995 году, но выиграло затем "Оскар". Так что если "Дюнкерк" окажется за бортом, то шансы этого военного эпика на статус ВР сильно упадут.
