Дед Стивен в свои 70+ дает жару и на два с половиной часа возвращает величие старого Голливуда на экран. Снято грандиозно, смонтировано мастерски, сыграно по-актерски. Великий поляк Януш Камински (кстати, в ленте ожидайте ксенофобскую шутку про пшеков) не теряет хватки и в каждом сантиметре пленки показывает тру левел настоящей синематографии.

Топ-уровень киномюзикла как есть. Казалось, что этот нафталиновый проект не вызовет у меня особых эмоций (тем более что оригинал смотрел давно и неправда). Ан-нет. Спилберг веников не вяжет. Два часа счастья и синефилии.

Особый фурор производит молодая актриса Рэйчел Зеглер (20 лет). Как говорил в интервью режиссер, кастинг-директор картины отсмотрел(а) чуть ли не десять тысяч претендентов на роли. Ну где нашли такого ангелочка? Замечательный перфоманс, открытие года.

P.S. Интересная фишка ленты в том, что все фразы на испанском тут не переводят. Субтитров вы не прочитаете. Это авторская задумка Спилберга и, как оказалось, она вполне ''работает'' на концепцию.
