А вот и companion-piece подъехал к ленте Шьямалана "Стук в хижине". Это тоже адаптация книги об условном армагеддоне. Вообще довольно забавно, что 2023 год стал так популярен на очередные теории о конце свете. В мире как никогда ощущается по максимуму нестабильность, хаос, тревога. Так что кинематограф как одно из отражений социума четко это фиксирует. Последний раз такой всплеск интереса к апокалипсису в кино был, пожалуй, в 2011 году. Помните, тогда майя или кто-то еще ванговал конец света из далеких времен. И тогда сразу вышли "Меланхолия" Триера и "4:44. Последний день на Земле" Феррары.

Кино "Оставь мир позади" (Leave the World Behind) несколько отличается от фильма Шьямалана. Тут мы не узнаем толком, что случилось. В фильме постоянно подкидывают разные конспирологические теории, но что же все-таки происходит? Ядерная война? Теракты? Свержение правительства? Это корейцы или китайцы? НЛО? Важно то, как реагируют на события разные герои этого фильма. Но самая интересная реакция у девочки-подростка. Плевать на конец света. Дайте досмотреть любимый сериал!
